It will have ADA-compliant sidewalks, Class A bike lanes and 12 acres of park, art and community amenities underneath. Programmable lights will illuminate each of the 10 pairs of arches from the ground and deck level and will offer unique light displays. Designed with a 100-year design life, it features innovative triple pendulum bearings to withstand a 1,000-year seismic event.   The project is the result of an unprecedented collaboration of residents, elected officials, business leaders, schools, labor unions, and cyclists. Due to the extensive public participation, the project is seeking an Envision Platinum rating.   On-going construction activities anticipated to be highlighted during the tour include formwork erection and floor beam construction.  More about the project, Click Here.
